Reno was a Zentraedi who served during the First Robotech War. After the war, he was stationed on the Robotech Factory Satellite. When Breetai arrived he was horrified by the contamination of males and females not only living together, but kissing, as well as Lynn Minmei's songs and baby Dana Sterling being made from the love of Max Sterling and Miriya Sterling. He fought against the Robotech Defense Force but when his soldiers refused to fight fearing contamination, he was destroyed when his ship was blown apart by enemy fire.
