Daryl Taylor was a human member of the Robotech Expeditionary Force and leader of the Wolf Squadron.

Taylor before the Battle of Reflex Point
Taylor had the call sign Wolf Two in 2043 and flew a VFA-6H Alpha. Taylor, along with the rest of the squadron was scrambled to intercept the stolen Icarus. Taylor was ordered to eject from his fighter after it was heavily damaged by a Shadow Fighter. (Comic: "Robotech: Prelude to the Shadow Chronicles 1: The Enemy Within")
Taylor took part in the attack on Optera a year later, his lost fighter replaced with a VFA-6X Shadow Fighter. (Comic: "Robotech: Prelude to the Shadow Chronicles 4: Ghosts of the Past" )
Taylor was given command of Wolf Squadron when former Wolf Leader Jack Baker was reassigned to Tirol.
He identified with the pilot Marcus Rush's sense of loss and recruited him and his wingman Alex Romero as recon fliers. (Bio)
Third Robotech War[]
At age 36m, (Bio), he led Wolf Squadron for the Battle of Reflex Point and was also given a Beta Fighter. During the battle, Taylor destroyed numerous Invid. however, once the battle started to turn due to the Invids far superior numbers, he was overwhelmed and an Invid managed to get close and stab his fighter's cockpit, also stabbing him, with the Invid firing at point-blank range on Taylor's fighter, destroying it and killing him.
Commander Taylor's Alpha is repeatedly shot at point-blank range.
Following the battle, Maia Sterling offered her condolences to Romero and Marcus Rush over the death of Commander Taylor. (Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles)
