Summary[]

Annie dreamed of Demont with and Demonth without the Mordecai Mind face effects training her to break open a skull with as Annie was wrapped up in bandaged. She awoke thinking that she wasn't in Belmont and Gilles having a smoke told her he fixed her heart and offered her a new dress. Annie got changed and didn't see any scar but looked out and saw Gilles talking with his men of a production of 80 milligrams per hour, which was not enough to activate the reflex shield, and needed the Mordecai Mind to make more Antimatter by overcoming its depression. Seeing Annie out, Gilles tells her he didn't say she could leave her room and she told him off saying she goes where she wants and not to use that tone with her. Loweth suggested killing and making another of her and Gilles told Sczanna and Keaguina to prep the Mordecai Mind for an audience. He walked with Annie and told his name and he lead the Immuno Heredity Enigma or IHE(Pronounced EYE) and was going to interrogate her but if she cooperated she'd leave with an intact heart. He showed her his SDF-Mordecai and she mentally called to Lancer to save her. Elsewhere, Lancer talked with Lunk over video communicator about how he couldn't find Annie after the battle and as she had stopped breathing for 10 minutes, she might have brain damage and be wandering around Lunk reassured him and said he'd being the Veritech to look for her but as Lunk hung up, Demont appeared behind Lancer with a bandaged and an unbandaged made up people. Lancer shared his Chicken Corn Chowder with them and Demont asked why he interfered. At Assent City, Gilles asked why Annie interfered and killed a Spleen Combat clone and she told him they would have destroyed the town. Gilles told her the Spleen she killed was a clone of the woman she was hunting as it would be easier to catch one who knows how you think. Demont revealed the 2 with her are her clones and she was a criminal as her clone taunted her. Gilles told Annie he improved the cloning technology of the Zentraedi and was 60 years old and healed of cancer twice through the Xalon Process. He used the Xalon Process to inject her with a Virus that disintegrated her organs except the brain and grew new ones in 3 hours and even restored dead brain cells. Demont's unbandaged clone said it was Virus Immortality which angered Demont who told Lancer that if you didn't serve the community, they took back what they gave you, new organs. Gilles told Annie how over the last 50 years, they hid from the world and used an Antimatter Powered Reflex Shield to defend against the 3 Alien Wars, but over the past 6 months, had moved Assent City to the SDF-Mordecai, and they would populate the universe with their clones. Gilles went on about how his computer The Mordecai Mind functioned as a judge and found his wife was hiding a condition known as Flesh Breakdown and she had been tampering with her Gene Samples so she was to be removed from the Labor as punishment. Demont told Lancer the computer framed her for having Flesh Breakdown, which would make her unable to use the Xalon Process, and how their Genes were to repopulate the Universe so they needed to be pure. The unbandaged Clone said her name was Vaudell-Sync and questioned if Demont was right about the Mordecai Mind as she had failing organs. The bandaged clone was a Spleen used as a spare organ bank for them and a Hover Van had the medical equipment for transplants which made Lancer find them sick. Demont criticized Lancer's town of Belmont over being a bunch of frightened socialists in a sewer of pathetic idealism and how she can read minds due to being possessed by Protoculture. In Assent City, Gilles was told the Mordecai Mind was upset and would only produce so much Antimatter and Rueis comforted Annie by saying they had strict rules for interrogation and Gilles was a benevolent man. Annie had romantic interest in him but he was called back. Demont told Lancer the Mordecai Mind was a clone of her husband Gilles who was in love with her she rejected him. Annie met the Mordecai Mind who said interrogation was not needed and she'd be sentenced to death after she told she was the one who helped Demont escape. Sera arrived in the Veritech and kissed Lancer but saw Demont and her clones who told them Annie was on an island 400 Kilometers off Hawaii but grabbed at Sera and said she had the inner eye of being possessed by Protoculture and the clone said it would be fun.
